Billing
How billing works
The short version: you choose monthly or yearly billing, nothing is charged to set up, and each service keeps the terms printed in its section.

Monthly billing
You pay at the start of each month. Full SEO, AI SEO and content writing plans are month-to-month with no lock-in: give 30 days' notice and the plan stops. Local SEO, dispensary, kratom, digital PR and listicle retainers have a first term of 90 days, because the work in those plans, and the guarantees on their pages, are measured over that time. After the first 90 days they run month-to-month, and you can stop with 30 days' notice. Store-based plans can also pause or cancel one store or location with 30 days' notice.

Yearly billing
Pay once for 12 months and take 10% off every monthly plan. Starter on yearly billing works out at $2,250 a month, billed as $27,000 at the start of the year. Yearly plans aren't a lock-in either: give 30 days' notice and we refund the months you haven't used, pro-rata. Plans with a first 90-day term keep that term when you pay yearly.

Is there a contract or a minimum term?
It depends on the service. Full SEO, AI SEO and content writing are month-to-month with 30 days' notice. Local SEO, dispensary, kratom, digital PR and listicle retainers have a first term of 90 days, then go month-to-month with 30 days' notice. Links and single listicle spots are per order, and technical audits are one-off.
How does yearly billing work?
You pay for 12 months up front and get 10% off. Starter, for example, is $2,250 a month on yearly billing, invoiced as $27,000 at the start of the year. If you stop before the year ends, give 30 days' notice and we refund the months you haven't used, pro-rata. Plans with a first 90-day term keep it on yearly billing.
Can I buy links or listicle spots without a retainer?
Yes. Links cost $120 to $300 each by DR tier; use the order form on the link building page. Single listicle spots cost $150 to $600 each by DR tier; ask for one through the contact form. Neither needs a retainer.
What's the difference between the full SEO and AI SEO plans?
Full SEO plans grow your Google rankings with content pages, editorial placements and technical fixes. AI SEO plans track 50 to 250 buyer prompts across 6 AI engines, including ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, and work to get your brand named in the answers. Many brands run both.
