How to Filter Out Keywords from this list?
Two numbers sit next to every keyword:
1. Volume
is the average number of US searches per month. Bigger means more possible traffic.
2. KD (keyword difficulty)
KD is Ahrefs’ 0–100 score of how hard it is to crack the top 10. Under 10 means a small site can compete. Over 50 means you’ll need serious authority.
The plan for most cannabis brands: start with keywords under KD 20 that match what you sell, win those, then climb. A KD 0 keyword with 200 searches beats a KD 80 keyword with 89,000 searches you’ll never rank for.
One warning before you write: keywords about health conditions carry legal risk in CBD. The FDA sends warning letters to brands that make health claims. Use those keywords to learn what shoppers want, and write carefully.

How we built this list
We pulled every keyword from Ahrefs Keywords Explorer (US database) in July 2026, using seed terms across ten categories: marketing services, CBD products, THC and hemp products, dispensaries, strains and growing, questions, business terms, and culture. We removed junk: adult-content noise, botany terms from other plants, and misinformation-adjacent searches. Volumes are average monthly US searches. Difficulty is Ahrefs KD on its 0–100 scale.
We refresh the list every six months. Volumes drift, and difficulty scores move as SERPs change, so check the date at the top before you plan a campaign around any single number.

How accurate are these search volumes?
They’re Ahrefs estimates of average monthly US searches, pulled in July 2026. Treat them as strong directional numbers, not exact counts. Real traffic for a #1 ranking often beats the volume number, since one page can rank for dozens of related terms.
