Vape SEO for vape shops and hemp and THC vape brands

Vape SEO for nicotine vape shops and hemp and THC vape brands. Google won't run vape ads, its Shopping listings exclude vaping products, and the postal service won't carry vapes to consumers. So buyers find you through search: product pages, shop pages, Business Profiles, lists and AI answers. We build those pages without health claims, behind age gates Google can read.

Why SEO

Why vape shops and brands need vape SEO

Vape SEO is the work that gets vape shops and hemp and THC vape brands found in Google and named in AI answers when buyers look for a product or a shop. We measure it in orders and store visits, not traffic.

  • Ads are closed

    • Google Ads No vape ads
    • Social ads No vape ads

Google Ads doesn't accept ads for products that simulate smoking, and doesn't accept ads for products that induce a high, so a THC vape is shut out twice. The largest social ad platform bans vape ads in any context, nicotine or not.

  • Shopping skips vapes

    • Google Shopping Excluded

Google's Shopping listings and product rich results exclude vaping products. Your own product and category pages are how a buyer finds a specific cart, pod or e-liquid in Google.

  • Shipping law shapes the sale

    • Postal service Won't carry vapes

Federal shipping law counts every vape as a cigarette, nicotine or not. Sellers who ship have to check age at the door, so delivery, pickup and where-to-buy pages carry more of the sale.

  • Payments shape tracking

    • Payments Specialist processors

Major payment processors don't take cannabis products, and some take e-cigarette sellers only for products the FDA has authorized. Most vape sellers run on a specialist processor, so we set up sales tracking around yours on purpose.

AI answers now shortlist shops and brands

When buyers ask an AI assistant or Google's AI Overviews where to buy a vape or which carts to try, the answer can name a few shops or brands instead of listing ten pages. Which names make the list changes often.

Is yours on it? AI answers draw on pages that explain your products clearly, and on sites that mention you. Both are work we can do for you, and we track the answers every month.

We're a CBD SEO agency, and vape sellers hit the same walls our other clients do: closed ad platforms, few publishers willing to link, and products Google handles with extra care. The link and content methods carry over; the rules chapter below covers what's different for vapes.

Google withholds search figures for most searches that name a cannabinoid, so the hemp and THC rows above are the ones it does report. The UK rows are shop searches only: THC vapes aren't legal in the UK.

Shops and products are different searches

Shop searches are local or online: people look for a store near them, or a store that delivers to them. Product searches go by format: carts, disposables, pods, e-liquids, batteries. We build a page for each format you sell and a page for each storefront you run.

Searches for a service like ours barely register in keyword tools. So we judge the work by the orders and store visits your pages bring in.

Who it's for

Who this page is for

  • Hemp vape brands

Brands selling hemp-derived carts, disposables and dab pens online, and UK brands selling CBD vapes.

  • THC vape brands

Brands selling THC carts, live resin carts and 510 batteries, online or through shops, where the law allows.

  • Vape shops

Storefront and online shops selling nicotine e-liquid, pod systems and, where they're legal, disposables, in the US and the UK.

We don't work with sellers of products that aren't legal where they sell or ship, or with anyone marketing to under-age buyers. Licensed dispensaries are covered on Dispensary SEO, brands whose whole range is delta-8 on Delta 8 SEO, and hardware makers selling empty carts and batteries to brands on Cannabis B2B SEO.

What we fix

What vape SEO covers

These are the ten areas we work on. Your audit decides which come first.

  1. Product pages by format

Titles, categories and internal links by format: carts, disposables, pods, e-liquids, dab pens and 510 batteries, so each search lands on a page built for it. Every page is written without health or effect claims. Google's product rich results exclude vaping products, so we don't rely on them; we use the structured data Google does support, such as breadcrumbs and organization details.

  2. Lab reports and product facts

For hemp and THC products, a current lab report (COA) linked from every product page. For nicotine products, the facts buyers check before they order: nicotine strength, flavor, device type and what's in the box.

  3. Age gates that don't block Google

Your age gate has to stop an under-age buyer. It doesn't have to stop Googlebot. We build it as an overlay on top of the full page, so the content stays readable to Google while the visitor still confirms their age. Google also recommends letting its crawler skip a mandatory age gate, and we set that up.

  4. Delivery, pickup and where-to-buy pages

Federal shipping law counts every vape as a cigarette, so we write the delivery, pickup and where-to-buy pages that answer a buyer's questions before the cart: where you ship, how age is checked, and where to buy in person.

  5. Shop pages and Business Profiles

For real storefronts only: a page and a Business Profile for each one, under the right shop category, with a review request flow that follows Google's rules. Products, prices and offers stay off the profile, as Google requires. Online-only stores don't qualify, so their local visibility comes from pages and links.

  6. A plan for the hemp rule change

The federal rules on hemp products are scheduled to change in late 2026. We map every hemp vape page that's affected, so pages for products that stop qualifying are rewritten, redirected or removed without losing the rankings around them.

  7. Claims check

No health, effect or cessation claims, and no claims that vaping is less harmful than smoking, on any page we write. Every page is checked before it goes live.

  8. "Best of" lists

Places on the lists buyers read before they choose a cart, a pen or a shop. For more, see cannabis listicles.

  9. Editorial links

Links from lifestyle and local news sites that accept vape brands and shops, with every domain shared before the link goes live. For more, see editorial link building, digital PR and our local SEO service.

  10. AI answers

When a buyer asks an AI assistant or Google's AI Overviews where to buy a vape, the answer can name a few shops or brands. We check what they say about you every month and work on the pages and mentions they draw from. For more, see AI search visibility.

The rules

The rules your vape SEO works inside

These rules decide which channels you can use and what your pages can say. We plan around them from the first week.

  • Google and social ads

Google's Dangerous products or services policy doesn't allow ads for products that simulate smoking or for products that induce a high, so a THC vape is shut out twice. The largest social ad platform bans vape ads in any context, nicotine or not.

  • Shopping and age gates

Google's product rich results and Shopping listings exclude vaping products, so we don't rely on them. Google also recommends letting its crawler skip a mandatory age gate, which we set up for you.

  • Shipping and payments

Federal shipping law, the PACT Act, counts every vape as a cigarette, nicotine or not (15 U.S.C. § 375). The postal service won't carry them to consumers, and sellers who ship must verify the buyer's age and have an adult sign for the package with photo ID (15 U.S.C. § 376a). Major payment processors don't take cannabis products, and some take e-cigarette sellers only for products the FDA has authorized.

  • Nicotine vapes in the US

The federal minimum age for tobacco products, e-cigarettes and e-liquids included, is 21 (FDA, Tobacco 21). A new tobacco product needs a written FDA marketing order before it can be legally sold. And no tobacco product may be marketed as less harmful or lower risk without an FDA order (21 U.S.C. § 387k), so your pages never say it.

  • Hemp and THC vapes

The federal rules on hemp products, vapes included, are scheduled to change in late 2026, and some products sold today may stop qualifying. Which of yours still qualify is a question for your legal adviser. THC vapes sold under a state license follow that state's rules.

  • The UK

Nicotine vapes can't be advertised in newspapers, magazines or most online media, but factual claims about products on your own website are allowed (CAP Code rule 22.12). Single-use vapes are banned, and THC vapes aren't legal in the UK, so UK work covers nicotine vape shops and hemp vape brands.

Who decides what your pages say

We aren't lawyers. Your counsel decides what you can sell, ship and say; we make sure buyers find the pages that say it.

Our rules

What we won't do, even if a competitor does

Some tactics bring quick traffic and then a penalty, a complaint or a closed account. We don't use them:

  • Health, effect or cessation claims, or claims that vaping is less harmful than smoking.
  • Marketing to anyone under 21 in the US or under 18 in the UK.
  • Pages for products that aren't legal, or aren't authorized, where you sell them.
  • Converted cannabinoids named as products we'd rank.
  • Age gates that show Google different content from your visitors.
  • Promises of product rich results or Shopping listings.
  • Hundreds of cloned city pages.
  • Links from private blog networks.
  • A promise of sales or the #1 spot. Nobody controls either.

FAQ

Questions vape shops and brands ask

Still have a question?

Ask Khushboo →
How much does vape SEO cost?

Starter is $2,500 a month and Growth is $5,800 a month, the same as our core SEO packages, for shops and brands alike. White-label is custom. No setup fee, and 10% off for annual payment. It's month-to-month with 30 days' notice. UK shops and brands are invoiced in pounds.

Do you work with nicotine vape shops?

Yes. We work with storefront and online shops selling nicotine e-liquid, pod systems and disposables, as well as hemp and THC vape brands. We don't write pages for products that can't be legally sold where you sell them, and we never market to buyers under the legal age.

Can my vapes get product rich results or Shopping listings?

No. Google's product rich results and Shopping listings exclude vaping products, nicotine or not. We use the structured data Google does support, such as breadcrumbs and organization details, and make your product and category pages the way buyers find a specific product.

Will an age gate hurt my vape SEO?

Only if it's built as a redirect or a blocking screen. An overlay on top of the full page keeps the content readable to Google while the visitor still confirms their age. Google also recommends letting its crawler skip a mandatory age gate, and we set that up. For nicotine shops in the US the gate asks for 21 or over, and orders you ship also need the age check and the adult signature at delivery that federal law requires.

Can we advertise vapes on Google or social media instead?

Google Ads doesn't accept ads for products that simulate smoking, and doesn't accept ads for products that induce a high, so a THC vape is shut out twice. The largest social ad platform bans vape ads in any context. We don't sell ad workarounds. Organic search doesn't need an ad account, so the pages you build keep bringing in buyers whatever happens to your ads.

Do you work with UK vape shops and brands?

Yes, with UK nicotine vape shops and hemp vape brands. Nicotine vapes can't be advertised in newspapers, magazines or most online media, but factual product information on your own website is allowed, so search matters even more there. Single-use vapes are banned in the UK and THC vapes aren't legal there, so we don't write pages for either. Prices are in US dollars, and UK clients are invoiced in pounds at the equivalent rate on the invoice date.

What happens to hemp vapes when the federal rules change?

The federal rules on hemp products are scheduled to change in late 2026, and some vapes sold today may stop qualifying. Your legal adviser decides which of yours still qualify. We then map every affected product page: rewrite it for a product that qualifies, redirect it to the closest one, or remove it, and we watch rankings weekly on every page we change.

Do you guarantee vape SEO rankings or sales?

No. Nobody controls Google or the AI answers built on it. We commit in writing to the work we control: every page checked for claims before it goes live, your age gate checked for indexing every month, a lab report linked on every hemp and THC product page we work on by month 2, and every link domain shared before it goes live.
